Overview:
- The Senior Project Officer (Contracts), New Women’s and Children’s Hospital Project is accountable to the Director, Commercial and Legal and is responsible for contract management, governance and assurance programs, projects and services.
- The role works within the New WCH Commercial and Legal Workstream, undertaking critical risk management processes and assessments for complex and diverse commercial arrangements, providing specialist advice aligned with agency and whole of government strategies, policies and priorities.
- The Senior Project Officer (Contracts) controls and delivers project commercial contract management services and works within and improves on, strategies, policies and practices to ensure contract compliance whilst establishing and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers, contractors and key stakeholders.

Criminal History Screening Requirement
- A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
- A DHS ‘Working With Children Check’ (WWCC) is required for this position.
Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)
