About the role

Provide expert clinical leadership and advanced nursing care for children and adolescents with Cystic Fibrosis. Coordinate state-wide services, support transition to adult care, and ensure evidence-based, patient-centred practice within the multidisciplinary respiratory team.

Key duties of the role

  • Deliver expert nursing assessment, care, and transition planning for patients with Cystic Fibrosis
  • Lead quality improvement, research, and policy development in respiratory care
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and clinical guidance to nursing and multidisciplinary teams
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and community partners to optimise outcomes
  • Drive education, evidence-based practice, and service innovation across SA

Skills and Experience

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and at least 3 years post-registration experience
  • Expertise in respiratory or complex chronic disease management
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven ability to implement quality improvement and evidence-based care
  • Knowledge of clinical governance, safety, and national health standards
