About the role

The Assistant Business Manager is responsible for providing a quality administrative and business support service across the Division that includes, providing financial and administrative management; undertaking capital and minor equipment processes; provision of information and support regarding staffing, business, and operational processes and policies; and information management, business improvement that contributes to the Division’s effective and efficient allocation of resources to enable service delivery.

Key duties of the role

  • Contribute to the development of financial, workforce, and management information systems and reporting
  • Provide effective and responsive administrative, workforce, financial, and business support services to staff across the Division

Skills and Experience

  • Proven ability to communication and negotiate effectively with all levels of management, staff and stakeholders.
  • Experience in actively leading senior Managers in the management of administrative, workforce, financial and business resources at an operational level.
  • Experience in the monitoring of staff plans for budgeting and resource management purposes.
