About the Role:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our highly skilled High Dependency Unit (HDU).
In this role, you will support the Nurse Unit Manager in delivering exceptional patient care in our specialised HDU environment. This position combines clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities, making a real difference to patients requiring intermediate-level care.
Key Responsibilities:
- provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff in the High Dependency Unit
- ensure quality patient care delivery and safety standards
- assist with staff development, rostering, and operational management
- collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
- contribute to quality improvement initiatives and policy development
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or be eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. A post graduate qualification in Critical Care Nursing (Intensive Care Nursing or High Dependency Nursing) is highly desirable.
