Overview:

The Technology Support Officer is responsible for providing a high quality, responsive and efficient support for EMR and Digital Health delivery. This involves coordinating and undertaking the auditing, commissioning, maintenance and de-commissioning of all computers and related equipment related to EMR project and support of technology deployment and assistance for Digital Health initiatives.

Work Locations:

• 1 position based in Adelaide CBD
• 1 position based in Mount Gambier

Criminal History Screening Requirement

• A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
• A DHS ‘Working With Children Check’ (WWCC) is required for this position.

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

Special Conditions

• May be required to work outside of normal business hours or as part of a roster during specific periods.
• The incumbent may be required to travel or work across and/or be located at any of the Department of Health units/divisions as required.
• A flexible approach to the taking of leave is required.
• Regular Travel into Regional South Australia will be required.
• May be required to work 24/7 rosters.
