About the Role

As a Ward Clerk, you’ll play an important role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of our Surgical Programs. You’ll be the friendly face that welcomes patients, visitors and staff, providing a high standard of clerical and reception support that helps ensure quality care and effective ward administration. Your attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to communicate clearly will contribute directly to the coordination of patient care and the seamless operation of the ward.

Your ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to change, and handle sensitive information with discretion makes you a valuable part of a healthcare setting.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work effectively with patients, visitors and teams

  • Experienced in administrative duties, hospital environments, and using office systems and EMRs

  • Highly organised, able to prioritise workloads and work independently under pressure

  • Committed to confidentiality, customer service, and maintaining workplace policies and standards
