Join Our Mental Health Team – Support Recovery and Deliver High-Quality, Person-Centred Care

Make a meaningful impact by delivering evidence-based, recovery-focused mental health care that supports consumers across community, acute, and rehabilitation settings. This role offers the opportunity to grow your professional capability, contribute to an integrated multidisciplinary team, and help improve the wellbeing of individuals, families, and the broader community.

About the Role:

This multidisciplinary Mental Health position is available to nursing or social work professionals at various classification levels (RN/M2C, RN/M1, AHP1, or AHP2). Regardless of your discipline or level of experience, you will play an important part in providing a comprehensive and coordinated range of mental health services tailored to the needs of consumers and the local community.

You will contribute to the delivery of integrated mental health care across community, acute, and rehabilitation settings, using a combination of preventative, early-intervention, therapeutic, and evaluative approaches. This may include individual and family therapeutic work, group programs, health promotion, and community development activities.

Professionals appointed at this level will consolidate and expand their clinical knowledge and skills through continuous development and experience. You will accept accountability for your own practice standards and for the activities you delegate to others, ensuring care is delivered safely, ethically, and in alignment with recovery-oriented principles.

  • Clinical Nurse (RN/M2C) applicants will bring consolidated experience, practise as competent to proficient clinicians, guide less experienced staff, and may be assigned negotiated portfolio responsibilities aligned with their career development plan.
  • Registered Nurse (RN/M1) applicants will further develop their practice from novice to proficient, working under professional guidance while contributing to multidisciplinary care and integrated service delivery.
  • Social Worker (AHP1) applicants will work under direct supervision of a senior clinician while consolidating their skills and contributing to therapeutic, preventative, and community-focused interventions.
  • Social Worker (AHP2) applicants will apply increasing clinical experience under reduced direction and may provide supervision to junior staff, allied health assistants, or students.

Across all classifications, you will be part of a committed team dedicated to improving mental health outcomes and delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
