About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Senior Assurance Consultant within the Internal Audit function.
The Senior Assurance Consultant position is a key role within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) Internal Audit Function and is accountable to the Head of Internal Audit for:
- Assisting in the development of the NALHN risk based Internal Audit Plan
- Planning, conducting and reporting on internal audit projects undertaken as per the approved NALHN Internal Audit Plan
- Managing and undertaking special projects and investigations on behalf of NALHN and SA Health
- Providing professional advice to management within NALHN regarding risks and controls, processes and systems.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree in accounting, finance, business studies, economics or other related discipline.

Modbury Hospital – A general hospital with emergency care, elective surgery, medicine, outpatient and sub-acute services, rehabilitation, geriatric and palliative care.
Forensic Mental Health - A statewide service that operates as part of the Division of Mental Health for forensic patients and prisoners.
Community Sites - Elizabeth GP Plus, Modbury GP Plus and Gilles Plains GP Plus Super Clinics providing community based care.
