About the role
Join the Rural Support Service as the Personal Assistant iCCnet and play a key role in supporting the Operations and Research Manager and ensuring the smooth running of the Integrated Cardiovascular Clinical Network. This position provides high-level executive and administrative support, helps coordinate clinical and operational activities, and contributes to projects, documentation, and service improvements. With a focus on communication, collaboration, and efficient office management, the PA helps connect healthcare teams across regional and rural areas and supports the delivery of high-quality cardiology services statewide.
How will you contribute
- Provide comprehensive executive and administrative support, including correspondence management, meeting coordination, policy drafting and roster maintenance.
- Assist in project management activities through research, investigation, preparation of documentation, and support to committees and working groups.
- Coordinate and support operational requirements such as patient referrals, EMR use, clinic schedules, training programs, and statewide cardiology hotline functions.
- Support team cohesion, office leadership, and collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals, regional networks, consumers, and external stakeholders.
Who are we looking for?
- Are you an effective communicator with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills?
- Do you excel at managing high workloads, setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team?
- Are you able to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgement, and design or improve administrative systems for operational efficiency?
- Do you have experience engaging with Aboriginal consumers in a culturally appropriate way and a willingness to undertake further cultural training?
