About the role

Join SAMI as a Consultant Radiologist and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional medical imaging services at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary clinical and academic team, providing expert interventional radiology care while also supporting diagnostic imaging services across negotiated areas. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality, patient-centred care through both direct clinical work and collaboration with colleagues across the hospital.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will provide professional leadership, supervise and teach radiology trainees, staff, and medical students, and actively participate in quality improvement initiatives. You will represent SAMI at campus meetings, liaise with clinicians, and support multidisciplinary teamwork to optimise service quality and diagnostic accuracy. This is a dynamic role for a dedicated radiologist seeking to make a meaningful impact on patient care while contributing to teaching, research, and continuous service improvement.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Radiologist who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused environment and contributes to teaching, research, and clinical excellence.

  • MBBS or equivalent with specialist registration and interventional radiology training

  • Proven expertise across a broad range of Medical Imaging modalities and procedures

  • Strong leadership, teaching, and teamwork skills with excellent communication
