About the role
As the Business Manager Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting informed decision-making across Statewide Clinical Support Services. Reporting to the Financial Business Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely and meaningful financial information that aligns with organisational objectives and corporate strategies. Your work will directly contribute to sound financial management and operational effectiveness across a diverse and complex portfolio.
In this role, you will prepare journals and invoice requests, produce monthly financial management reports, and support the effective management of research, non-operating and administered funds. You will work closely with a range of stakeholders across services including SA Pathology, SA Pharmacy, SA Medical Imaging, BreastScreen SA and SA Dental, providing reliable financial insights and contributing to continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting.

You have well-developed analytical, research and technical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and experience recommending practical solutions to operational and financial issues.

You bring strong interpersonal and communication skills, work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, and respond positively to change by adapting to new information, systems and procedures.

You have hands-on experience in administrative and financial roles, including accrual accounting, data management, spreadsheets and databases, with working knowledge of government accounting standards, taxation legislation, and WHS and Equal Opportunity requirements.
