Key duties • Lead expert respiratory advice across hospital and community • Manage home oxygen care from referral to follow up • Support patients and carers with clear lung care advice • Guide teams to reduce hospital visits and stay days • Build links with GPs, NGOs and oxygen providers • Advise on complex cases across acute and home care • Contribute to policy, research and service change • Support sleep and lung test services with patient care
About You
You are an experienced respiratory nurse ready to lead, influence and make a statewide impact. You bring strong clinical judgement, confidence working autonomously, and a genuine drive to improve care for people with lung disease.
• AHPRA registered nurse with current practising certificate • Advanced respiratory nursing expertise across acute and community • Confident leader who guides teams and supports practice growth • Strong educator for patients, carers and health professionals • Sound knowledge of safety standards, policy and care pathways
