Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of others? We are seeking an Allied Health Assistant to join our dynamic team, supporting Allied Health Professionals within NALHN clinical service areas in relation to cardiology requirements.

About the Role:
Working in the Allied Health Division you will have an opportunity to work across all Allied Health Specialties, and will provide essential support to Allied Health Professionals, contributing to comprehensive patient care and restorative outcomes. Your appointment will be at the AHA2 level.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring patient response to therapies and reporting to the supervising AHP.
- Assisting patient transport to/from AHP therapy/intervention.
- Assisting patient preparation for therapy and at the conclusion of therapy.
- Assisting patient in personal care needs to maintain privacy, cleanliness and dignity before, during and after therapy interventions.
- Assisting with patient movement and/or physical tasks as part of a directed therapy intervention.
Classification & Appointment
Appointment to this role will be at AHA2:
- AHA2: Requires Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or Mental Health (or equivalent).
