About the Role:

As the Administration Coordinator – Mental Health, you will oversee and coordinate administrative functions that enable the efficient and effective operation of mental health services across the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network. In this role, you will lead and support ASO2 staff, coordinate resources, and proactively resolve day-to-day operational issues. You will work closely with the Mental Health Team Leader, Manager Integrated Mental Health Team, and Director Mental Health, providing high-level administrative support and acting as a central point of contact for administrative staff. The position also contributes to policy, service improvement, and workflow enhancements, ensuring administrative practices align with organisational priorities and support high-quality, responsive mental health care delivery.

 

About You:

  • Experience in coordinating, supervising and developing staff.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining effective administrative systems, procedures and technologies.
  • Experience in the research and coordinating information relevant to policies and procedures.
  • Experience in preparing reports, briefings, general correspondence, and meeting minutes.
  • Experience in providing a confidential secretarial and clerical service.
