About the Role

As a Health and Wellbeing Advisor at YNLHN Community Health, you’ll apply your clinical expertise to create, implement, and evaluate a wide range of services tailored to the needs of the Port Pirie community. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, multi-professional environment, where your contributions will directly impact the lives of individuals and groups aiming to reduce preventable chronic conditions.

In this role, you will:

Design and lead lifestyle and risk factor programs that promote sustainable health and wellbeing practices
Undertake client screenings and assessments, working with a multi-disciplinary team to help clients achieve their health goals
Lead initiatives that foster behavioural and lifestyle changes, contributing to the community's overall health improvement
Collaborate with allied health professionals, assistants, and students, providing guidance and supervision where necessary
You’ll be working with clients to reduce the impact of chronic conditions, with a focus on prevention, early intervention, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and professional individual with:

  • A recognised qualification in a relevant Allied Health profession
  • Eligibility for membership of the relevant Professional Association
  • The drive to work collaboratively and contribute to the community’s wellbeing
  • Strong experience in client assessments and program design
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development (for self-regulated professions)
