About the Role

Step into a leadership role guiding after hours nursing teams across CALHN. You will manage patient care, support staff, and maintain safe, high-quality environments while driving continuous improvement and collaboration across the hospital.

Duties
• Lead nursing team to deliver safe, high-quality care
• Coordinate after hours patient care and resources
• Support and mentor less experienced nurses
• Maintain effective internal and external relationships
• Drive initiatives to improve ward performance and safety

About You

You are a confident and inspiring nurse leader who thrives in guiding teams, improving care and fostering a safe, high-quality environment after hours.

• Hold registration or eligibility with Nursing Board of Australia
• Lead and support nursing teams while mentoring staff and students
• Apply clinical expertise to improve models of care and patient outcomes
• Communicate effectively, solve problems and manage competing priorities
• Drive change, innovation and consumer-focused initiatives across services
