About the Role
Join us as a Orthopaedics, Nurse Practitioner/ Nurse Practitioner candidate/ Nurse Consultant and deliver effective and efficient outcomes by providing high quality Orthopaedic care to both inpatient and outpatient clients. This position will provide advanced clinical expertise, leadership and coordination of services for people admitted as an orthopaedic emergency. You’ll lead, support and shape practice while building your expertise in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Provide advanced assessment and care for emergency orthopaedic patients
- Lead and mentor nursing staff, sharing expertise and guidance
- Coordinate care, early discharge planning and triage of patients
- Drive projects and programs to improve patient outcomes
- Develop extended practice as a Nurse Practitioner candidate under supervision
Qualifications
RN-3 Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
RN-4 Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with the notation of Nurse Practitioner. Masters in Nurse Practitioner qualifications relevant to Orthopaedic Nursing.
