About the Role
As a Social Worker - Rehabilitation, you’ll use your clinical expertise to provide comprehensive, integrated services tailored to the needs of the local community. You’ll plan, implement, and evaluate a range of interventions aimed at enhancing the quality of life for patients and their families. With increasing professional responsibility, you’ll have the opportunity to supervise and mentor less experienced team members, including allied health assistants and students.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you’ll collaborate with health professionals and service providers across sectors to deliver high-quality care, including preventative measures, early intervention, treatment, and therapy. Your role will be crucial in improving patient outcomes while fostering community wellbeing.
What You’ll Bring
- A recognised qualification in Social Work and eligibility for practising membership of the relevant Professional Association
- Proven clinical experience, with the ability to work independently and under reduced clinical direction
- Commitment to continuous professional development and participation in accredited programs
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-professional team
- A genuine passion for providing person-centred care to individuals and families in need
