About the Role

The Senior Manager Quality and Innovation plays an exciting, new and pivotal leadership role in shaping the delivery of high-quality, efficient Integrated Care services to achieve optimal outcomes for patients. Accountable for formulating and implementing strategic directions across Integrated Care, including but not limited to allied health, this role drives service excellence by identifying opportunities for innovation, strengthening models of care and ensuring alignment with organisational priorities. You will provide oversight of quality improvement initiatives, research development and service optimisation activities that enhance patient experience and system performance.

Working collaboratively across sites and agencies, you will lead coordinated allied health approaches within Integrated Care by partnering closely with clinicians, managers and key stakeholders. This position contributes to the development, coordination and implementation of strategic and operational priorities, ensuring services remain contemporary, evidence-informed and outcome-focused. It is an opportunity to influence system-wide improvement while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability and continuous quality enhancement.

You bring extensive discipline expertise, strong stakeholder engagement capability and a demonstrated ability to deliver complex clinical and system-level change. With a commitment to continuous quality improvement and practical application of research into practice, you are confident working across multidisciplinary environments and building trusted partnerships across CALHN, SA Health and external organisations.

  • Leadership, Change & Project Expertise – Proven experience delivering significant clinical practice change, leading innovative service delivery initiatives and managing complex projects with minimal supervision, including change management and resource oversight.

  • Strategic Analysis, Quality & Research Capability – Demonstrated ability to identify service gaps, analyse and validate information, use data to inform decisions, and initiate and support quality improvement and research activities, including planning, documentation and reporting.

  • Stakeholder Engagement & System Knowledge – Extensive experience in multidisciplinary collaboration, building effective clinical partnerships, preparing organisational briefings and correspondence, and applying detailed knowledge of Integrated Care clinical practice, health service management, relevant legislation and contemporary healthcare trends.
