WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
The Services Assistant role offers the opportunity to provide a timely, efficient, and effective support service within the health unit. You will contribute to catering, laundry, and cleaning functions, supporting food preparation and delivery, maintaining linen and uniforms, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
This position plays an important role in the day-to-day operation of the health unit, operating equipment and machinery as required, assisting with stock control and equipment maintenance, and supporting a positive team culture focused on safety, communication, and continuous improvement.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
- Provide catering, cleaning, and laundry services, including food preparation, plating, delivery, and general housekeeping.
- Undertake laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, labelling, packing, and minor sewing repairs.
- Operate machinery and equipment such as washing machines, ovens, sealing units, and cleaning equipment.
- Maintain stock, assist with equipment checks and repairs, and support the efficient operation of the health unit.
- Participate in workplace health and safety procedures, mandatory training, and continuous improvement activities.
