Maitland Hospital provides 24/7 Emergency Department services, ensuring timely care for the local community. Medical coverage is supported by locum doctors and advanced telehealth services, including:

- SA Virtual Emergency Service (SAVES)
- SA Virtual Care Service (SAVCS)
