About the Opportunity
This full-time contract position (ending 26 February 2027) offers experienced nursing and midwifery professionals the chance to drive educational excellence while covering periods of annual leave. You will utilise your clinical expertise to provide corporate support services, overseeing comprehensive education, training, and learning experiences that directly impact patient outcomes.
In this senior role, you will lead course and program teams, spearheading the development of innovative nursing and midwifery programs including Transition to Professional Practice Programs. Your responsibilities extend to creating education resources that enable rapid adaptation of best practice models across acute, sub-acute, and community care settings throughout the healthcare continuum.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate education and training services across the Local Health Network
- Develop curriculum supporting early career transition to professional practice
- Address inconsistencies between practice and policy
