About the Role
Step into a key leadership role supporting safe, high-quality care in the Emergency Department. As Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you balance hands-on clinical practice with team leadership, helping build capability, consistency and smooth day-to-day operations.
- Lead and support nurses to deliver consistent high quality patient centred care
- Promote a psychological safe environment
- Guide nursing care and support skill development
• Assist the Leadership and Management Team with nursing team support including Development Discussions
• Support practice change and quality improvement
• Monitor supplies, workload and unit performance
About You
You are a confident and capable nurse ready to lead, support and develop a high-performing team while delivering excellent patient care.
• Hold current registration and practising certificate as a Nurse
• Apply strong clinical skills and sound professional judgement
• Lead, mentor and support junior nurses and students
• Communicate clearly and work effectively within a team
• Prioritise tasks and adapt flexibly to changing need
