Step into a key leadership role supporting the Nurse Unit Manager to deliver safe, consistent mental health care. You will help shape practice, build a capable team and keep the unit running smoothly while staying close to patient care.
• Support NUM to lead nurses and daily unit flow • Guide practice change and promote care consistency • Allocate staff, manage rosters, leave and attendance • Support recruitment, performance and staff growth • Deliver direct mental health care and case work • Build strong links with teams and partner services • Drive quality work, policy input and improvement • Step in for NUM as required
About You
You are a capable mental health nurse ready to support team leadership and deliver calm, high quality care in a busy clinical setting.
• Registered Nurse with NMBA and current practising certificate • Postgraduate mental health nursing qualification or equivalent • Confident leader who coordinates teams and supports staff growth • Skilled in complex mental health care and recovery focused practice • Comfortable with clinical systems and quality improvement tools
