Join SA Health, South Australia's largest employer and make a meaningful difference in healthcare delivery. We are seeking a dedicated Administration Officer to support GP Plus Marion on a part-time, short-term contract basis until 16 October 2026.
About the role:
Reporting to the Administration Coordinator this role is responsible for delivering culturally appropriate, equitable, comprehensive, high quality, effective and confidential Intermediate Care focused administrative, reception and clerical services for patients/clients and staff of the SALHN GP Plus sites. The position contributes to the ongoing continuous improvement and development of quality services to patients through the delivery of support, advice, guidance and education to other health professionals and students, and through contributing to planning, policy development and service review processes
Duties for the role will include:
- Responding appropriately and promptly to incoming calls and walk in visitors.
- Arranging client appointments.
- Maintaining confidentiality on all issues relating to the organisation, the clients and fellow colleagues
- Undertaking word processing and data entry tasks as required
- Ensuring that the Centre’s displays, notice boards and promotional materials are current and maintained through liaison with relevant services
About you:
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise, organise and manage work effectively with limited supervision, use initiative and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience in basic computing skills, including email and word processing.
- Be flexible, adaptive and responsive to change, aligning with key organisational priorities and particularly in an environment with competing demands
- Operating as an effective team member
