Join the Central Adelaide Local Health Network Mental Health Program and shape recovery focused care as an essential member of the multi-Disciplinary Team within the Mental Health acute services at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. You will work alongside other occupational therapists in a culture that promotes worker wellbeing and supports professional development. As a valued member of the occupational therapy team, you will:
• Deliver evidence-based OT assessments and interventions for a range of complex conditions • Provide support to junior staff and the established occupational therapy student program • Work with consumers to support self-management and occupational performance • Plan safe, supported and timely discharge • Work with a range of stakeholders to address barriers to occupational participation and support community tenure
About You
You are a capable, recovery focused Occupational Therapist who brings sound judgement, teamwork and care to complex mental health settings.
• Degree qualifying for OT registration with AHPRA • Deliver evidence-based assessments, interventions, reports and reviews • Build trust and rapport with consumers, carers and teams • Plan care, manage risk and document clear clinical records • Use IT, support students and commit to ongoing learning
