Join Our Team as an Administrative Service Leader - Riverland General Hospital
Lead a dynamic administration team and play a vital role in ensuring high-quality customer service, accurate data reporting, and efficient day-to-day operations within Riverland General Hospital.
About the Role:
The Administrative Service Leader - RGH is responsible to the Corporate Administration & PAS Manager for delivering comprehensive administrative support and operational supervision of a team of administrative staff.
You will oversee all activities relating to customer service, staff rostering, liaison with external clinicians, allocation of daily tasks, quality data entry and reporting, and the collation of monthly patient activity statistics.
The role also coordinates training and development for new staff and provides day-to-day supervision, support and coordination across key administration areas including the Emergency Department, Medical Records, Acute Ward Clerk services, Theatre Clerk services, and casual Administration Officers.
What We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrated experience leading and supervising teams, including task allocation, rostering and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a complex organisation, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Extensive knowledge of Patient Administration Systems (Chiron) and medical records practices, including patient-related policies and confidentiality requirements.
- Experience establishing and maintaining effective office systems, procedures and technologies.
- High-level customer service experience with a strong focus on quality service delivery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, preparing correspondence, agendas and minutes.
