About the Role
As a Radiographer, you will perform complex diagnostic imaging procedures across a range of clinical specialities, applying advanced techniques and sound clinical judgement with minimal professional direction. You will prepare patients for examination through careful review of medical records, liaise closely with radiologists and clinical teams, and ensure accurate patient identification prior to imaging. Your ability to assess patient condition and adapt techniques accordingly will support high-quality diagnostic outcomes and positive patient experiences.
In this role, you will review and post-process images to ensure optimal quality, determine the need for additional imaging to aid diagnosis, and accurately record examination data within the relevant EMR systems. You will provide professional guidance to radiographers, graduates and students, contributing to skill development within the team. With opportunities to support research and participate in quality assurance programs, you will play a key part in maintaining high clinical standards while delivering safe, responsive and patient-centred care.
