About the Role
As a Student Clinical Supervisor Radiographer, you will play an important role in supporting and developing the skills and knowledge of the next generation of Medical Radiation professionals within Medical Imaging. This may be done through face to face teaching and tutorials, coaching and undertaking informal and formal assessments.
You will also lead the coordination of undergraduate Medical Radiation students undertaking clinical placement. This includes working with university clinical coordinators to establish learning agreements, developing placement rosters and providing guidance that supports skill development, reflective practice and professional growth in a real clinical environment.
This will be done in addition to delivering high quality diagnostic imaging which may include an additional modality from previous roles while working with a level of professional independence. It will allow you to continue to demonstrate your solid knowledge base in performing diagnostic radiographic examinations using specialised equipment across a range of imaging modalities, contributing to safe, patient centred imaging services.
About You
You are a skilled Radiographer with a passion for mentoring students and supporting high quality imaging services in a busy clinical environment.
• Degree in Medical Radiation and AHPRA registration
• Experience across general or emergency radiography
• Proven ability to mentor and support student learning
• Strong teamwork, initiative and problem solving skills
