Make a Difference in Older Persons Care

Join CALHN’s Care of the Older Person and Community Transition (COACT) team and make a meaningful difference, supporting older people from hospital to recovery. Work within the tranquil, leafy surrounds of Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre in a welcoming, team-focused environment.

About the Role

Be part of a friendly food services team where your work keeps everything flowing. You’ll manage stock, build organised store systems, create clean, safe spaces and help deliver quality meals in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

• Receive, check and store goods
• Monitor stock and assist with ordering
• Rotate stock and maintain storage areas
• Clean kitchen, stores, equipment and floors
• Operate cleaning equipment and dishwashers
• Follow food safety, record data and report issues

About You

You’re a reliable, team-focused person who takes pride in quality work. You communicate well, stay organised and follow processes with care, helping keep services safe, efficient and customer focused.

• Catering or food service experience
• Read and follow menus, policies and instructions
• Strong numeracy for stock and basic records
• Communicate clearly and work well in a team
• Apply food safety and allergen awareness
