About the role
As the Executive Correspondence Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth, timely and high-quality management of correspondence and administrative workflows for SA Pathology's executive office. You will provide a professional, organised and responsive support service, managing correspondence processes and administrative functions that underpin informed decision-making and effective executive operations. Working collaboratively within a small, high-performing team, you will contribute to maintaining excellent standards of accuracy, confidentiality and customer service.
In this role, you will work closely with other executive administrative staff to deliver a cohesive and efficient service, supporting the daily operation of the SA Pathology executive mailbox and the professional development mailbox. You will be involved in process development, coordination and monitoring, ensuring workflows are streamlined and consistent with organisational expectations. This is an opportunity to support executive-level priorities, build strong working relationships across the division and contribute to a positive and well-organised administrative environment.

Key Requirements
- Administrative capability & confidentiality: You have proven experience delivering confidential, professional administrative and clerical support, with the ability to work independently, maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgement in sensitive environments.
- Communication & interpersonal skills: You communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, engaging effectively with clients, community members, health service staff and external agencies.
- Adaptability & problem-solving: You are comfortable working with changing priorities, analysing issues in sensitive situations and contributing to continuous improvement of systems and processes.
- Technical skills & organisation: You are proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat Pro, and you manage competing deadlines with ease, ensuring efficient, high-quality work output in a small team environment.
