Overview:

The Networks Program Support Officer is part of the Networks team, Consumer and Clinical Partnerships, and reports to the Clinical Networks Portfolio Manager.

  • The Networks Program Support Officer position contributes to the successful delivery of the Statewide Clinical Networks and a range of projects and initiatives that contribute to better healthcare for all South Australians.
  • The Networks Program Support Officer works closely with the Networks’ team and collaboratively with all team members of the CEIH, health providers and stakeholders to support Statewide Clinical Networks and health system improvement initiatives.
  • The Networks Program Support Officer provides project support functions and ensures effective and efficient administrative processes to support the operations of the Statewide Clinical Networks. The position assists in supporting key communication platforms including management and maintenance of website content, social media and other communication and stakeholder strategies.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment).
  • A DHS ‘Working With Children Check’ (WWCC) is required for this position.

Immunisation Risk for this position is: Category C (minimal patient contact).

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

Special Conditions

  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • Project Management qualification
  • Experience in undertaking project planning including researching and preparing reports and publications contributing to implementation of complex projects
  • Experience in analysis, utilising evidence and coordinating groups with stakeholders from a range of backgrounds and disciplines including consumers, carers and community representatives, to achieve clinical service improvements.
  • Experience preparing reports, briefings, and correspondence of some complexity
