About the role
The Administration Manager leads administrative services for Allied Health, ensuring effective staffing, recruitment, and workforce planning. The Administration Manager provides advice to managers, oversees performance and development, resolves conflicts, and ensures consistent, high-quality administrative support aligned with service demands and projects.
Key duties of the role
- Provide advice to Heads of Unit, managers, and administrative staff across the Sub-Acute and Allied Health Directorate.
- Ensure administrative needs are identified and resourced appropriately to meet service demand.
- Undertake workforce planning to ensure adequate skills mix.
- Provide a Human resource service to the Division for recruitment and selection for non-nursing staff.
- Ensure employment appointments are in line with current Organisational HR policies, procedures and consistent with relevant standards, awards and legislation.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in an administrative management role within the public sector environment.
- Experience in providing and management of a range of human resources functions.
- Knowledge of legislation relevant to the SA Health public hospital system.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to supervise, foster collaboration and manage staff.
- Ability to effectively manage and allocate resources to achieve defined outcomes
