WHAT ARE WE OFFERING? 

We offer a supportive and rewarding role within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment, where you will play a vital part in enhancing the wellbeing and independence of older people. This position provides the opportunity to work closely under the guidance of experienced Allied Health Professionals (AHPs), contributing directly to the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.

You will gain hands-on experience in delivering individual and group therapy interventions, supporting clinical programs, and assisting with meaningful activities that improve consumer outcomes. The role also offers opportunities to develop practical clinical skills, contribute to resource development, and build confidence in delivering delegated therapy programs.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

  • Do you have a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, or are you undertaking an Allied Health Degree, and have a strong interest in supporting older people?
  • Can you effectively follow clinical direction, communicate clearly, and confidently document and report consumer progress?
  • Are you organised, adaptable, and able to prioritise tasks while working in a busy, team-based healthcare environment?
  • Do you have a caring, person-centred approach with the ability to engage respectfully with diverse consumers, including Aboriginal communities?

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE? 

You will………. 

  • Support Allied Health Professionals by assisting with clinical activities, ensuring therapy programs are delivered safely and effectively.
  • Deliver delegated individual and group interventions, helping consumers achieve their therapy goals and maintain independence.
  • Contribute to high-quality care by accurately documenting consumer progress and supporting clinical administration tasks.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and person-centred environment by following workplace health and safety practices and supporting consumer dignity at all times.
