About the role:
The Talent Acquisition Manager plays a key role in leading timely and effective recruitment across the organisation. Supported by a well established and highly regarded Talent Acquisition Team who support end to end recruitment, the role leads the development and implementation of key recruitment, attraction and retention strategies to address critical skills shortage areas and strategic priorities for the network.
Duties for the role will include:
- Provide expert recruitment advice for attracting new employees as part of infrastructure projects and to maintain current workforce.
- Identify innovative and contemporary solutions and opportunities to bring together and simplify recruitment processes in conjunction with hiring managers.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across SALHN, SA Health and government agencies to drive organisational objectives and promote positive strategic direction.
- Participate in career pathway initiatives that promote job opportunities at SALHN.
- Provide oversight to the TAT and SALHN Stakeholders on International recruitment initiatives, outcomes and opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement by challenging existing practices, developing contemporary recruitment approaches and ensuring effective systems support quality improvement and compliance standards
About you:
- Proven experience developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies across a range of professions and in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary healthcare environment.
- Knowledge in delivering contemporary recruitment models, and providing expert advisory and specialist consultancy services on recruitment matters
- Possess highly developed communication, persuasion and analytical skills with public sector HR expertise, enabling you to identify strategic issues and develop and action creative solutions within government frameworks
- Ability to effectively lead and manage staff to achieve positive outcomes
