Senior Dietitian - Transform Patient Lives Daily

The State-wide Eating Disorder Service (SEDS) is a specialised mental health service providing care to clients across South Australia suffering from Eating Disorders including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorders. The SEDS provides care through consultation liaison; evidence based care and integrated research. Components of the SEDS include a Consultation Liaison Service, a Day Program and an inpatient program. 

 The Senior Dietitian will also be expected to participate in the Day Program, with the key responsibility for the food service management of this program consistent with the framework of the Clinical Business Rules. The Senior Dietitian will provide outpatient treatment and assessment  to individuals as indicated by service needs.

About you:

• Clinical experience in direct service provision, in the area of Eating Disorders
• Advanced skills in undertaking a comprehensive nutritional assessment of clients presenting with Eating Disorders
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust, confidence and co-operation at all levels of the organisation
• Ability to contribute to the achievement of performance targets in relation to activity, quality, research and development in line with organisational goals
• Successful participation in a multidisciplinary team environment whilst maintaining a clear professional role
• Advanced skills in individualised care planning and coordinating comprehensive service provision
