- MDP2 $99,707 to $158,523 p.a. + super + salary packaging
- Full time or Part time temporary contract available
Duration of the training program: 12 months from 1/2/27 up to 30/1/28
Term of the Contract: 3 years (in line with clause 55 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement). At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to assist find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3-year contract, if necessary.

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated medical officer to join our Vascular Surgery Unit in a dynamic and supportive training environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the supervised management of vascular surgery patients, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and outcomes. You’ll have the opportunity to develop a broad range of procedural skills, honing your clinical judgement and surgical dexterity under the guidance of experienced consultants.
This role offers more than just clinical exposure—you’ll be encouraged to engage in ongoing professional development through tutorials, clinical meetings, and personal study. You'll also play an active part in teaching and mentoring junior colleagues, contributing to a strong culture of learning within the unit. About You
You are a motivated medical practitioner who delivers safe patient care and thrives within a collaborative surgical team environment.
• MBBS or equivalent with AHPRA registration
• Completed internship or equivalent medical training
• Demonstrate sound clinical and communication skills
• Work well within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Commit to safe practice and quality improvement
