About the Role
Join our Community Palliative Care team as a Nurse Consultant and help deliver expert, compassionate care to patients and families requiring specialist palliative support across a range of healthcare settings. You will provide advanced clinical expertise, leadership and guidance while supporting positive patient outcomes and high quality end of life care.
- Deliver expert palliative care and clinical advice
- Support patients, families and multidisciplinary teams
- Lead projects and service improvement initiatives
- Mentor and guide nursing staff across the service
- Build strong partnerships with healthcare providers
- Promote safe, compassionate and person centred care
In this rewarding role you will use your clinical knowledge to guide, support, mentor nursing teams while leading projects and programs that enhance patient outcomes and service delivery. With a high level of professional accountability, you will shape the delivery of specialist patient care through expert consultation, coordination, innovation - helping to ensure that every patient and family receives the best possible care and support during life's most challenging moments.
About You
You are a compassionate and experienced nursing professional who brings strong clinical leadership, resilience and a commitment to delivering high quality palliative care.
• AHPRA registration with current practising certificate
• Lead palliative care with compassion and professionalism
• Support staff growth and multidisciplinary teamwork
• Current SA Drivers Licence required
