About the role
Join SA Pharmacy’s Regional Casual Team in a flexible casual role where every shift brings variety, impact and connection. As a Casual Pharmacist or Senior Pharmacist, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centred pharmacy services across a range of clinical settings—supporting safe, effective and timely medication management for inpatients, outpatients and the broader community. Working closely with medical, nursing and allied health colleagues, you’ll apply your clinical expertise and professional judgement to optimise therapy outcomes, provide trusted medicines advice and empower patients through counselling and education.
These casual opportunities are ideal for pharmacists seeking flexibility while building breadth of experience or contributing advanced capability. Senior Pharmacists will draw on their leadership and expertise to guide service delivery, mentor colleagues and contribute to quality improvement and service development, while Pharmacists will expand their clinical practice across diverse areas in a supportive team environment. You’ll be part of a collaborative workforce committed to safe medication use, continuous learning and excellence in care—making a meaningful difference to health outcomes across South Australia.
About You
We’re looking for motivated and adaptable pharmacists who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a positive difference in patient outcomes.
- Registered (or eligible for registration) with the Pharmacy Board of Australia, with a strong foundation in clinical pharmacy practice and medication management
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands, exercise professional judgement and maintain accuracy in a complex environment
- For Senior Pharmacist applicants: proven leadership experience, with the ability to guide others, contribute to service improvement and deliver high-level clinical and operational outcomes
