About the Role
Lead the Transit Unit with confidence and care. You’ll manage safe patient flow, build a capable nursing team and create a calm, well run service. Working across teams, you’ll keep care consistent, staff supported and outcomes strong.
Duties
• Lead safe, high quality nursing care
• Coordinate patient flow and daily unit work
• Build team skill, trust and accountability
• Guide practice change and policy use
• Manage rosters, leave and workforce needs
• Foster a positive, respectful work culture
About You
You’re an experienced registered nurse who leads with clarity, care and purpose. You know how to bring people together, improve care and keep teams focused on safe outcomes.
• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration or eligibility
• Experience leading nursing teams in complex care settings
• Strong communicator skilled in problem solving and change
• Confidence improving care models and staff capability
• Sound knowledge of safety, quality and risk standards
