About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Recovery Unit, where you will play a key role in supporting patients through their post-operative care journey. In this fast-paced and rewarding environment, you’ll deliver direct, comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures, working as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team focused on achieving the best possible outcomes.
As a Registered Nurse, you will be supported in further developing your clinical expertise through ongoing professional development and hands-on experience. You’ll be accountable for the quality of your own nursing practice and responsible for safely delegating tasks to other staff. About You
You are a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with a strong foundation in clinical care and a commitment to delivering safe and effective post-operative nursing services. To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Current registration (or eligibility) with the Nursing Board of Australia, with evidence of completing a Graduate Nurse Program or equivalent
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide comprehensive nursing care within a multidisciplinary recovery setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support, assess, and guide other team members
- Sound understanding of professional standards, legislative responsibilities, and quality improvement principles in healthcare
