About the role: 

Reporting to the (Operationally) - Strategic Asset Manager (Professionally) - Manager, Infrastructure Services, some of your duties for the role will include:

  • Assist Engineers and the Engineering Team with the design and layout of electrical installations on-site, ensuring integration and coordination with other disciplines during design and review meetings,
  • Resolve technical and non-technical issues as they arise, consulting with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project progression,
  • Assist with the design of building projects, ensuring efficient integration and coordination with other disciplines during design and review meetings,
  • Prepare concept designs and scope documents for new and existing facilities, exercising creativity and initiative in investigating, analysing, and conceptualizing possible options to meet design objectives,
  • Update and alterations of historical documents including electronic conversions.

About you:

  • Relevant Diploma/Advanced Diploma or recognised qualification approved as being appropriate to the career group, or alternatively as being defined within the classification standards - Recognised qualification and demonstrated competency in CAD design and software use,
  • Interpreting architectural drawings and specifications,
  • Proficiency in CAD Software - Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit BIM software,
  • Knowledge of engineering standards and guidelines,
  • Knowledge of Australian Health Facility Guidelines.
