About the Role
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of older people by supporting engaging and enjoyable activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social connection. As a Lifestyle Officer, you'll work alongside Allied Health professionals to deliver group programs and activities that help older people maintain function, stay active and participate in daily life.
• Facilitate group activities that support wellbeing and participation
• Encourage social connection and meaningful engagement
• Support allied health programs for older people
• Build positive relationships with patients and care teams
• Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive environment
About You
You are a caring and enthusiastic team player who enjoys working with older people and helping them stay active, connected and engaged.
• Eligible to undertake Allied Health Assistant training
• Build trust through empathy and strong communication
• Support group activities and therapeutic programs
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Bring initiative, flexibility and a positive approach
