As a Senior Pharmacist, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred pharmacy services and supporting the safe and effective use of medicines across the hospital. You’ll be responsible for the organisation and management of your designated pharmacy area, providing expert medicines information and therapeutic advice to patients, medical and nursing staff, and other health professionals. With the opportunity to exercise professional autonomy and sound clinical judgement, you’ll contribute your expertise across a broad range of pharmacy services while working in partnership with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for patients.

About You
We’re looking for an experienced and confident pharmacy professional who combines strong clinical expertise with leadership, sound judgement and a commitment to improving patient care. You’ll bring a collaborative approach, excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a complex hospital environment.
- Bring recognised pharmacy qualifications and registration, with a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent and current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
- Demonstrate extensive hospital pharmacy experience, with strong professional and technical knowledge of pharmacy practice, services and relevant codes of practice and standards.
- Be a capable and inspiring leader, with experience supervising, educating and supporting staff, and the ability to lead service improvements and implement strategies that enhance pharmacy delivery.
- Be an analytical and collaborative problem-solver, with excellent communication, organisation and research skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
