About the Role
Help shape exceptional cancer care for adolescents and young adults across South Australia and the Northern Territory. As a Youth Cancer Service Consultant, you'll provide expert clinical care, strengthen partnerships and help grow innovative, patient-centred services that improve outcomes for young people and their families.
• Deliver expert care for adolescents and young adults with cancer
• Lead service growth across public, private and regional settings
• Build strong partnerships with multidisciplinary care teams
• Guide best practice, quality improvement and clinical innovation
• Support patients, families and the wider community with expert advice
About You
You'll bring specialist expertise, a collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for adolescents and young adults with cancer.
• MBBS or equivalent with Specialist registration and Fellowship
• Work well across multidisciplinary teams and care settings
• Bring clinical teaching and quality improvement experience
• Communicate with empathy, patients, families and colleagues
• Understand contemporary AYA cancer care and best practice
