About the role
Be the welcoming face of SA Medical Imaging at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Radiology, where you'll play a vital role in creating a positive experience for patients, referrers and visitors. As a Radiology Receptionist / Administration Assistant, you'll deliver professional reception, appointment booking and administrative support that helps keep a busy medical imaging service running smoothly and efficiently.
Working closely with the Administration Coordinator, Practice Manager and multidisciplinary team, you'll manage patient enquiries, coordinate appointments and act as an important communication link between the Radiology Department, patients, clinicians and external organisations. With a rotating roster across reception and administration functions, you'll enjoy a varied role where your organisation, customer service and teamwork make a real difference every day.
• Welcome patients and provide exceptional front desk service
• Coordinate appointments and manage bookings efficiently
• Maintain accurate patient records and administration systems
• Liaise with clinicians, patients and external providers
• Support smooth day to day Radiology operations
• Respond to enquiries with professionalism and care
• Contribute to a collaborative and patient focused team
• Deliver high quality administrative support across the service
About You
We're looking for a friendly and organised administrator who enjoys helping people and thrives in a busy healthcare environment.
• Experience in medical reception or healthcare administration
• Confident using patient systems and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Able to prioritise, solve problems and work as part of a team
- Able to participate in a roster including weekends and evenings
