WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

Join SA Health’s Allied Health Assistant team at Victor Harbor and Strathalbyn, where you’ll play a key role in supporting patient care and community well-being. In this AHA-3 position, you’ll work alongside Allied Health Professionals to assist with therapy delivery, support patients through treatment, monitor progress, and contribute to positive health outcomes. 

This is a hands-on, rewarding opportunity to grow your skills while making a real impact. You’ll be involved in clinical care, documentation and equipment support, while also contributing to team development and a culture of safety, collaboration and continuous improvement. HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE? 

You will………. 

  • Support Allied Health Professionals in delivering therapy by assisting with patient preparation, treatment activities and recovery support 
  • Monitor patient responses during therapy and report progress or concerns to the supervising clinician
  • Assist with patient mobility, transport and personal care to ensure comfort, safety and dignity throughout interventions
  • Contribute to group therapy and education sessions under direction, helping patients build skills and confidence
  • Maintain accurate documentation, support clinical administration and uphold safety, infection control and confidentiality standards
