Overview:

  • The Project Officer is responsible for the provision of high-level communications, project and policy support to the Population Health Division, particularly in the Tobacco and E-Cigarettes Unit.
  • The role will also develop tobacco and e-cigarettes strategy and policy, as well as plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive range of specialist tobacco and e-cigarettes projects, policy and communications initiatives, and provide expert advice to the Executive as well as other stakeholders.

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
