Put your skills to work and help build connection, confidence and community.

Do you enjoy working with people, working on practical projects and creating a welcoming place where everyone feels included?

As an Industrial Therapy Coordinator, you’ll help create a safe, friendly space where local community members can connect with others, learn new skills and take part in practical workshop activities.

From helping with workshop projects and sharing practical skills to having a cuppa and a chat, you’ll play an important role in creating opportunities for people to build confidence, develop friendships and stay connected with their community.

About You

You don’t need to be a qualified tradesperson or therapist to succeed in this role. You may be a retired tradie, have experience using workshop tools, enjoy practical projects or simply have a hands-on approach and a willingness to learn.

Most importantly, you’ll be a people person who enjoys connecting with others, communicating openly and creating an environment where everyone feels welcome.

You’ll bring:

  • Practical or workshop experience and confidence using tools.
  • Confidence using technology and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A friendly, inclusive and respectful approach.
  • The ability to encourage participation and build positive relationships.

Why this role?

This is an opportunity to combine your practical skills with your people skills and do something genuinely meaningful in your community.

You’ll help create a place where people can learn, create, connect and belong — whether they're working on a project, learning something new or simply dropping in for a cuppa and a chat.

If you're practical, approachable and enjoy helping people connect, we'd love to hear from you.
