About the Role
Join CALHN as a Consultant/Senior Consultant – Pain Medicine and deliver specialist, physician-led care for people experiencing acute, persistent and cancer-related pain. Work within an interdisciplinary team while helping shape high-quality pain services, education and future models of care.
- Deliver specialist pain care across inpatient, outpatient and outreach settings
- Provide consults, procedures, non-invasive neuromodulation and group-based care
- Collaborate with medical, nursing, surgical and allied health teams
- Supervise and support trainee medical officers
- Drive service improvement, teaching, research and clinical practice
About You
You are a collaborative and highly skilled Pain Medicine specialist committed to clinical excellence, patient-centred care and continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Hold an MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
- Hold AHPRA specialist registration in Pain Medicine
- Hold FFPMANZCA or an equivalent specialist qualification
- Bring expertise in complex inpatient and outpatient pain care
- Demonstrate clinical teaching and quality improvement experience
